Been quite some time since i posted anything to this blog (well, you might not see anything because i deleted all the older posts since i thought they were too, how do you say it, last year).
Let's catch up! So what's new..
I am currently overly-stressed by my research-which-i-need-to-finish-to-get-my-bachelors-degree. But anyhow, i guess Prasetiya Mulya has taught me well in working with such tight deadlines and heavy pressures. So i figure i'll survive. Only thing is I only have around 1 month to finish the whole thing.
I'm doing this research on finance, stock market. Finally got all the data i need (thanks to Bayu from the Indonesia Stock Exchange who has helped so much in providing all the datas that i (desperately) need. So, jinx on me. I'm going to finish and graduate very soon. Amen to that.
Other thing is that, I think my junior years are over. Last year I always prayed: i wish i can gain a little more weight (I used to weigh only 45, i can reach 41 when i'm sick and my max weight is 48). People always said I was way too skinny even though they despised how i can binge-eat and not gain any weight at all. I was a pig, WAS.
Here, the moral of this story is: BE CAREFUL WITH WHAT YOU SAY BECAUSE YOU JUST MIGHT GET IT
Now, after entering work life (yes, i was Garuda Indonesia's Public Relation for 6 months until I decided to resign (yes, why oh why) because i wanted to focus on my research, graduate, and hopefully continue studying and get a scholarship for my masters degree. Amen (again). Oh, back to the weight topic, okay. After entering work life, I started eating breakfast (yes, I never ate breakfast) because I started so early in the morning and having an empty stomach would do me no good but a, as quoted from Cincha Lowrah, gastrowww problem.
Months went by and i gained weight without noticing. Soon after I was buying bigger sizes of clothes (and jeans, which was irritating). Wait until I got sent by Garuda to Istanbul for 2 weeks (LOVE LOVE LOVE that city). That was June. 2 weeks and the hell with all KEBABs and LAMB and KEBAB and KEBAB (yes, Turkish people eat kebab only-well maybe some other things but for sure it has lamb or other fatty stuff in it), i had to spend the last days in Istanbul only able to wear tights and legging (YES, my jeans did NOT cooperate with me). It was horrific. I reached 54, i felt like a pig (a bigger one than before). ALL MY JEANS DON'T FIT ME NO MORE (cry).
But anywaaaayyy... I got home to this lovely (NOT) city full of traffic, opened my drawers, grabbed out the dresses i bought, hanged them, and said: I WILL DO HEALTHY DIET starting now. So here I am, buying low fat milk, eating fruit and salad, cutting off my soda and alcohol intakes, and less keen on munching through those greasy nibbles. I also stopped giving charity to the gym (since i pay them the membership fee but i rarely show up), now I am back doing cardio and all that fat burning activities. YEAY to that :)
It's September 20 now and i gain 52 kg. I am in target for another 2 kg loss and I am going to achieve it very soon. I will be in better shape (and probably attract some decent single men *i enjoy being single but i miss being in a relationship-oh well)
Cheerios! Got work to do :)
And sure it is great to be back writing. WHOOHSAAH!
